Helping those who can’t help themselves
MEXICAN LONG-NOSED BAT
The Mexican long-nosed bat is in critical decline due to habitat loss, human disturbance at roosting sites, and decreased food availability. Despite its ecological importance—especially as a primary pollinator of agave—rehabilitation and education resources for this species are nearly nonexistent in our area. This project will be the cornerstone of our bat conservation work, with long-term plans to expand into full-scale wildlife rescue and sanctuary operations on a larger property.

About
Even small acts of kindness can make a difference
Wild pAZ Animal Sanctuary is dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating, and providing lifelong care to native Arizona wildlife that cannot survive in the wild. We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization in the beginning stages of fundraising in order to begin building a facility for native Arizona animals that need rehabilitation and appropriate homes. To aid in this, I am selling jackets that I hand-paint to raise money for the land. The jackets take me an average of 8-10 hours to finish completely, but I do take breaks, of course, so it takes me a couple of days from start to finish. 100% of the profits go directly to Wild pAZ. Some jackets are up for sale on the site, but I also create custom works, so if you have an idea, feel free to send me an email, and we can get creative! Please join us by supporting our efforts to make a meaningful difference in the lives of Arizona’s wonderful wildlife. Thanks for your support and interest!

Making a Difference

Volunteering
The Volunteering program will be a major component in the success of this sanctuary, and that is based on the premise that making a real difference is not only possible, but vital. At Wild pAZ Animal Sanctuary, Volunteering will be a source of great pride for our Non-Profit Organization and will ensure that we can save as many lives as possible.

Local Empowerment
Here at Wild pAZ, we intend to be fully integrated with the community in which we thrive. Getting everyone involved in our conservation efforts will not only help reach our goals but will also better the community as a whole. There are currently no wildlife sanctuaries in the East Valley of the Phoenix metro area that specialize in native species rehabilitation, particularly for sensitive or endangered animals like the Mexican long-nosed bat. This gap in services leaves a significant need for both care and public education, which Wild Paz is uniquely positioned to fill.

Your contribution can help us get our facility up and running, provide life-saving supplies, and enrich the lives of the animals so that they can go on to live full lives that nature intended.
We are in search of land in the valley (Gilbert, Mesa, Chandler, Queen Creek, and possibly Casa Grande) if you know anyone that would like to donate the land for this special cause, please contact us today!
Plus, if you make a donation of $1500 or more, I will make you a custom jacket of your choosing!
